I made this skirt as a thank you gift for Mia Gorczynski, who was the wonderful photographer who shot my summer collection in January. It's in the Albany style, made from a super-soft vintage cotton.

Well, it has been a long time since I last posted, but I am finally back into things and I have an extra exciting post to start things off!

On Friday Mia, Rhiannon and I took to the Wellington Botanic Gardens to put together a wee shoot for my entry for the Libra Design Project. The first few images are up online on the Crowns Clothing facebook page now!

With a slight deviation from the usual subject matter of my blog, here's a link to the fantastic local band The Body Lyre's May track. They're recording a track a month for the year, and then releasing the full length in December. Drums and synth are performed by my boyfriend! This is one of my favourite Body Lyre tracks. It is deep and dark and delicious.
